Lupine Flowers

On Monday rotation day, Kindergarten artists painted lupine flowers from looking at pictures of the flowers on the smart board. We discussed the parts of a flower: stem, leaves, petals and children made sure to draw those parts (they actually painted the petals using their pointer finger). They also drew a border around their paper using one or two of the following lines: zigzag, bumpy, curvy or loopy. This was a great Spring lesson.
